Homemade Chemical Peel:
When it comes to skin care there are AHA(Alpha Hydroxy Acids) and BHA(Beta Hydroxy Acids).  Alpha Hydroxy acids do not penetrate the skin as deep as Beta Hydroxy acids, however both have great advantages for your skin and there are several products in your pantry and medicine cabinet you can combine to make homemade skin care products.
AHA’s are glycolic acid, lactic acid, malic acid and more.  You can make a simple scrub by combining cane sugar(glycolic acid) and yogurt(lactic acid) together to form a paste.  Rub it on your face and let it sit for about 15 minutes then wash your face.  Studies have shown that AHA’s may aid in stimulating collagen production and help diminish the appearance of wrinkles.
BHA is salicylic acid.  Aspirin, just plain non coated aspirin and water makes a great paste to put on blemishes.  By combining baking soda and water together, make a paste then squeeze fresh lemon juice(AHA-citric acid) over about 10-12 aspirin.  Once the aspirins dissolve to make a paste, spread it over your face using your fingers.  Let the mask dry for about 10 minutes then wipe away with the baking soda mixture on a cotton ball.  BHA’s help diminish wrinkles, help soften the skin and reduce pigmentation disorders.
Depending on how much of a mask you want to make you will need the following:
10-12 non coated aspirin
fresh lemon
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup cane sugar
1 Tbsp of baking soda
1 cup of water
These homemade ingredients are what many aestheticians recommend for home skin care.
I have personally tried these so if you have any questions feel free to email me at jenniferboatwright79@gmail.com
Also for a quick blemish spot treatment, just take one non coated aspirin, add a couple drops of water.  Let the aspirin dissolve and make a paste, then apply to the blemish.
(If the aspirin paste is too dry you can add honey to the mixture so that the paste will adhere better to the skin.  This will work for the blemish paste as well as the chemical peel)
